In a report transmitted to the Office of the Mayor, the COA rendered an “unmodified opinion” on the fairness of the presentation of the LGU’s financial statement, this time for 2024. The report dated June 13 was signed by Supervising Auditor Evangeline Picar.
An unmodified opinion is considered the best opinion that a government agency can receive from the state auditors.
This is the second year that the LGU has earned such rating under the leadership of Mayor Niña Jose-Quiambao.
With Mayor Niña at the helm, the LGU has taken leaps to achieve the ultimate goal of delivering Total Quality Service to Bayambangueños.
