Over the past weeks, RHU I has observed a concerning increase in the number of reported animal bite incidents. Specifically, there were 85 new cases recorded today, notably higher than the average rate in recent months.

This spike, RHU I explains, can be attributed to the expected rise in such incidents during the summer season, as interactions between humans and animals tend to increase during this time and pet animals get uncomfortable and agitated during summer.

ABTC staff thus stressed the importance of being responsible pet owners as well as responsible individuals and parents to their child as well.
