Bilang bahagi ng pagdiriwang ng ika-5 SLP Congress, matagumpay na idinaos ng DSWD Region I at LGU-Bayambang ang Dunong Forum Series noong ika-13 at ngayong araw, ika-14 ng Nobyembre, sa Balon Bayambang Events Center.
Ito ay naglalayong magbigay kaalaman sa mga miyembro ng Sustainable Livelihood Program Associations (SLPA) at mga piling estudyante mula sa Bayambang National High School, Bayambang Polytechnic College, at PSU Bayambang.
Sa unang araw, isinagawa ang forum na pinamagatang ‘SLP Champions’ na nagbigay-diin sa mga usaping may kinalaman sa pagpapalago ng kabuhayan, produktong lokal at kanilang mga sikreto sa tagumpay. Kabilang sa mga paksang tinalakay ay ang Optimizing the Chain ng Aringay Veggies Agriculture Cooperative; Product Development and Innovation ng Bannuar SLP Inc.,; Strategies Toward Financial Security and Freedom ng Vigan Longganisa and Bagnet by Dang Arce; Securing Marketing Agreements ng Dagupan SLP Consumers Cooperative; at Branding and Marketing Strategies ng Masagana SLPA Multi-Purpose Cooperative.
Kasunod nito ang ‘Usapang USBONG’ kung saan tinalakay ang mga hakbang sa pagtataguyod ng mga maliit na negosyo at pagtutulungan ng komunidad.
