May 80 local farmers ang nakilahok sa isang bamboo product technology demo at research ng Department of Science and Technology – Forest Products Research and Development Institute (DOST-FPRDI) ngayong araw, November 7, 2024, sa Pavilion I, St. Vincent Ferrer Prayer Park.
Iprinisenta ng DOST-FPRDI personnel mula pa sa Los Baños, Laguna ang kanilang presentation na pinamagatang “Bamboo4Tech: Transforming Nature into Sustainable Innovations,” kabilang ang kanilang naimbentong bamboo soap, bamboo liquor, bamboo deodorizer, at bamboo leaf fertilizer.
Pagkatapos ng technology demo ay nagsagawa naman ang FPRDI ng survey at product acceptability test sensory evaluation.
Namahagi rin ang ahensya ng mga bamboo soap sa farmer-participants at ang mismong ginawang sabon ng mga participants ay ibinigay din sa kanila.
Ang mga taga-FPRDI ay pinangunahan nina Director IV, Dr. Rico J. Cabangon, at Project Leader, Dr. Jennifer P. Tamayo, at sila ay winelcome nina Vice-Mayor Ian Camille Sabangan at Municipal Administrator, Atty. Rodelynn Rajini Sagarino-Vidad, CSFirst Green AID Inc. President, Engr.
