Honorable Mayor Ricardo M. Camacho inducted into office the new set of Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan officials coming from the 77 barangays of Bayambang.

Almost attended by 100% of the new officials, the ceremony was graced by three (3) Provincial Board Members in the third district of Pangasinan. They are: BM Romeo H. Dadacay, BM Angel G. Baniqued Sr., and BM Amadeo T. Espino, the President of Association of Barangay Captains in Pangasinan.

The new set of SK and Barangay officials will formally assume office tomorrow, December 1, 2007.

The ceremony was also highlighted by the awarding of certificates of recognition and appreciation to outgoing Barangay Captains and Barangay Kagawad (s) who served for three full terms.

In his opening and welcome speech, Mayor Ricardo M. Camacho admonished the new set of officials to get the support of their former political opponents so as to harmonize their efforts for the benefit of their respective constituents like what he did with the members of the sangguniang bayan.

The three Provincial Board Members likewise inspired the new officials to give back the equivalent of the trust and confidence given to them by their barangaymates through effective leadership and dedicated service.

The program featured some entertainment numbers coming from the
Matalunggaring Dance Troupe of Pangasinan State University-Bayambang Campus through Professor Januario M. Cuchapin and Mr. Ramil Dacal and another number was rendered by the SK officials of Barangay Buayaen thru the leadership of Ma. Krizza Anne B. Camacho, the only daughter of Mayor Ric Camacho who is aspiring to be the SK Federation President.

Mrs. Dinah A. Pinlac, the Local Government Operations Officer presented the new set of officials while Mr. Jonathan V. Corpus presided over the ceremonies.
